I believe that lawyering is about serving people to bring about justice and peace.
I commenced my legal career at one of the Big Four firms, Rajah & Tann, practising in commercial litigation & arbitration. I’ve advised and represented institutional and individual clients in a broad range of disputes from multi-million dollar investment claims and patent infringements to employment disputes.

• acting for a Managing Director in the oil and gas industry for breach of contract, rectification of contract for mistake, unjust enrichment, and minority oppression.
I also enjoy a non-contentious advisory practice dealing in technology & media, FinTech, blockchain, employment, investments & corporate finance, financial services, mergers and acquisitions, and Intellectual Property (“IP”).
Transaction highlights include:
• advising a Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS)-Recognised Market Operator (RMO) of security digital tokens markets and cryptocurrency / virtual assets;
• advising on a venture capital investment into a digital payments startup based in Singapore and Indonesia;
• advising on the multi-million dollar sale of a group of companies to a large government-linked conglomerate;
• advising on the multi-million dollar sale of a novel multi-modal craft technology company to a large government-linked conglomerate; and
• advising a leading electronics retailer on issues and disputes regarding IP & distributorship.
I am also a Singapore Mediation Centre (SMC) Accredited Mediator and I volunteer pro bono with various NGOs, legal clinics, LAB and CLAS. I advocate for social justice in various platforms, and frequently author academic and thought papers, some of which have been published in various journals. I lecture at LASALLE College of the Arts in Principles of Arts Management 3: Legal Frameworks for the Arts.
In my other roles, I try to pioneer movements, build communities, provoke novel ideas, mobilise people, and cultivate culture.
